The Firm represents creditors in Chapter 7, Chapter 11 (including Subchapter V) and Chapter 13 bankruptcy proceedings. The Firm has also represented a creditor trustee and court-approved bankruptcy professionals. We do not represent debtors in any type of bankruptcy proceeding. We can help clients with matters as simple as preparation and filing of proofs of claim, as well as seeking relief from the automatic bankruptcy stay and objecting to the bankruptcy debtor receiving a discharge of debts owed creditors. The Firm also has experience litigating preference claims under the Bankruptcy Code. Involvement in the American Bankruptcy Institute, Turnaround Management Association, and the bankruptcy committees of the American Bar Association helps the Firm keep up with the latest developments in bankruptcy law and procedure.
